Can-Opener 2008: Play Like You Got A Cause.

Saturday 19th July, all day. Registration 8:15am to 8:45am. Games start 9am.

Freeman's Bay Community Hall, 52 Hepburn Street, Freeman's Bay.

There will be a range of tournaments being run. A 40K tournament 1200pt event, a Warhammer Fantasy 1500pt event and a Warmachine/Hordes 400pts event. 4 rounds of games.

Tickets are $15 plus 3 cans of food (minimum) See the tournament of your choice for ways to spend your cans during the games for rerolls etc. (information on each tournament on the Auckland City Guard forum website) http://www.cityguard.co.nz/forum Check out the events section.

All cans of food will be donated to the Auckland City Mission after the event.

I will be organising some snacks and drinks for sale during the day, including a sausage sizzle thingy around lunchtime. $1 each.

Spectators welcome (free entry)

All players welcome. No need to pre-register, just turn up at 8:15am to register.

Sorry for the lack of the calendar, my laptop which I store everything on developed issues and wont connect to the internet at the moment. And I can't copy stuff off it as the problem is with the usb port. Will try to get back to usual reception as soon as possible.
